API reference

The live OpenAPI 3.1 specification is served directly from any running Astropress instance:

GET /ap-api/v1/openapi.json   (no auth required)

This is the authoritative, always-current source of all REST API endpoints, request schemas, response shapes, and Bearer token scopes. Import it into any OpenAPI-compatible client (Postman, Insomnia, Scalar, Swagger UI).

MCP server tools

The astropress-mcp package exposes 8 tools for AI agents: list_content, get_content, create_content, update_content, list_media, get_site_settings, get_health, get_revisions.

Configure via ASTROPRESS_API_URL and ASTROPRESS_API_TOKEN env vars.
